Interatheriidae sind eine ausgestorbene Familie Säugetiere von spätPaläozän zu spät-Miozän. Sie werden oft in zwei Untergruppen unterteilt: Notopithecine und Interatheriinae.
Eigenschaften
Diese Familie bestand aus pflanzenfressenden, hauptsächlich kleinen, nagetierähnlichen Säugetieren mit einem Gewicht zwischen 500 Gramm und 15 kg. Es war eine langlebige Gruppe.
Funde
Fossilien dieser Tiere wurden gefunden in Argentinien.
