Elleanthus ist ein Sex mit 111 Typen tropisch Orchideen aus der Unterfamilie Epidendroiden. Sie kommen aus tropischen Südamerika und finden sich hauptsächlich in den Anden. Es sind Pflanzen aus den Tropen Regenwald die bestäubt werden von Kolibri.

Das Botanischer NameElleanthus ist eine Zusammensetzung von AltgriechischElle (oder , Hallo, eine Figur aus der griechischen Mythologie) und ἄνθος, anthos (Blume).
Eigenschaften
Elleanthus-Arten teilen viele vegetative Merkmale mit der Schwestergattung Sobralia. Sie sind hauptsächlich terrestrisch oder epiphytisch Orchideen. Sie besitzen fleischige, mattenbildende Möhren, aber nein Pseudobulben.
Sie haben ein einzelnes oder verzweigtes grasartiges Blumenstiel und eindeutig parallel gekörnt und plissiert lanzettlichDurchsuche mit spitzer Spitze entlang des gesamten Stiels. nicht so wie Sobralia haben sie viel Blumen, an der Spitze des Stängels in dichter, vielblumiger Kugelform Blumenkopf oder kegelförmig Ohr, mit Vorsatz länger als die Blumen.
Das Blume ist respiniert, das Kelchblätter und Blütenblätter gleichmäßig, länglich und voll ausgebreitet, die Blumenlippe größer, aufrecht, sackförmig an der Basis, und die Gynostemium umfassend. Das Gynostemium ist an der Spitze aufrecht, gerippt oder geflügelt. Das Staubbeutel trägt acht wachsartige Pollinien. Die Blüten sind normalerweise hell und auffällig gefärbt und reichen von Weiß über Gelb, Grün, Rosa, Lila und Rot.
Die meisten Elleanthus einbiegen in bestäubt durch Kolibri.
Lebensraum
Elleanthus sind genau wie Sobraliaterrestrisch oder epiphytisch Pflanzen, die feucht tropisch gefunden werden können Regenwald. Aufgrund der Abwesenheit von Pseudobulben sind sie an Feuchtigkeit gebunden? Biotope.
Aussehen
Elleanthus kommt in den tropischen Regionen von . vor zentral und Südamerika, wie in Mexiko, Peru und Brasilien, mit Schwerpunkt um den Anden.
Taxonomie
Dresslerin dieses Geschlecht gepostet mit Sobralia Bei der Epidendreae[1]. Inzwischen sind beide Geschlechter in einem eigenen Tribus Sobrlieae inbegriffen[2]. Was die Aufteilung in zwei Unterstämme betrifft, so sind selbst die jüngsten DNA-untersuchen aus 2007[3] noch Raum für Zweifel, aber bleiben Sie vorerst bei der hier beschriebenen Aufschlüsselung.
Die Gattung umfasst etwa 112 Arten. Der Typtyp ist Elleanthus lancifoliusC. Presl (1827)
