Symphyosepalum ist ein ehemaliger monotypischSex (eine Gattung mit nur einem nett) von terrestrisch Orchideen.

Die eine Art, Symphyosepalum gymnadenioides, ist jetzt in der Gattung enthalten Neottianthe wenn Neottianthe cucullata div. calcicola, wodurch das Geschlecht aufgehoben wird.

Namensgebung und Etymologie

Der Name Symphyosepalum kommt von Altgriechisch συμφύειν, 'sumphuein' (zusammenwachsen)^[1] und botanisch Latein 'Kepalum' (Kelchblatt).
