Paratryton ist eine Gattung von Schmetterlinge aus der Familie der Dickköpfe (Hesperidae). Der wissenschaftliche Name der Art wurde erstmals im Jahr 1900 gültig veröffentlicht von Frederick DuCane Godman.^[1] Er beschrieb zwei Arten von Mexiko: paratrytonischer Rhexenor und Paratrytonische Polyclea.
