Vinylalkohol oder Ethenol ist ein organische Verbindung mit der Bruttoformel C2huh4O. In normale Bedingungen ist Materie im Gleichgewicht mit ihrem tautomer, Acetaldehyd. Die Bilanz ist stark zugunsten von Acetaldehyd.
Zwischen Mai und Juli 2001 entdeckten die Astronomen A. J. Apponi und Barry Turner Vinylalkohol in der MolekülwolkeSchütze B.[1]
