Es Chemisches ElementNiob (Anmerkung), mit a Atommasse ab 92.90638(2) Sie, besitzt 1 Stall Isotop: 93Anm. Die anderen 31 Radioisotope sind instabil und haben eine relativ kurze halbes Leben (die meisten weniger als eins zweite).
Das kurzlebige Isotop von Niob ist 81Nb, mit einer Halbwertszeit von weniger als 44 Nanosekunden. Die langlebigste ist 92Nb, mit einer Halbwertszeit von 34,7 MillionJahr.
Niob-92
Niob-92 ist das stabilste Radioisotop. Es ist das langlebigste Isotop, das in der Natur noch nicht gefunden wurde. Es ist daher nein Urnuklid. Niob-92 kann auf zwei Arten zerfallen:[1]
- Direkt durch β-zerfallen zum stabilen Isotop Zirkonium-92
- Indirekt durch β−-Zerfall zum stabilen Isotop Molybdän-92, das selbst im Verdacht steht, einen doppelten Betazerfall zu Zirkonium-92 zu durchlaufen (schließlich beträgt seine Halbwertszeit 190 Billion Jahr)
Niob-93
obwohl Niob-93 gilt als stabiles Nuklid, es kann theoretisch spontane Spaltung unterziehen. Es ist auch das leichteste Nuklid, das dies durchmachen kann.
