Es Chemisches ElementIndium (In), mit a Atommasse ab 114.818(3) Sie, besitzt 1 Stall Isotop: 113In, die theoretisch in der Lage ist spontane Spaltung zu durchlaufen. Die anderen 37 Radioisotope sind instabil und haben eine relativ kurze halbes Leben (die meisten weniger als eins zweite).
Das kurzlebige Isotop von Indium ist 97In, mit einer Halbwertszeit von etwa 5 Millisekunden. Die langlebigste ist 115In, mit einer Halbwertszeit von 0,441 BillardJahr. Dieses Isotop kommt in der Natur am häufigsten vor (das relative Präsenz beträgt knapp 96%). Weil die Halbwertszeit tausendmal größer ist als die Alter des Universums, kann dieses Isotop? de facto als stabil gelten. Auf der Erde ist es ein Urnuklid, was bedeutet, dass es bereits existierte, als die Erde entstand.
