Geckolepis ist eine Gattung von Eidechsen gehört zu Geckos (Gekkota) und die Familie Gekkonidae. Die Gruppe wurde erstmals wissenschaftlich beschrieben von Alfred Grandidier im Jahr 1867.
Es gibt vier Arten, eine fünfte Art wurde 2017 beschrieben: Geckolepis megalepis. Diese Art ist jedoch noch nicht allgemein anerkannt.
Alle Arten kommen endemisch für auf Madagaskar.[1]
